Internet and Communication

The Internet has changed the way we communicate in negative and positive ways.

The Negative
Some would argue that the internet has made us more impersonal. A lot of people would rather use social networking sites than have face to face conversations.

The Positive
Social networking sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn allow us to stay in touch or even reconnect with old friends, family members, classmates and business associates that we would not have been in contact with otherwise.

The Internet has significantly changed the way we communicate with one another. But, like all technology, it is up to the individual to determine the impact that the Internet has had on their life.
